Our kindergarten is a space for a joyful childhood, where children develop harmoniously by playing engaging games, communicating with friends, and interacting with the world around them.
- While studying volcanoes, we will perform a chemical experiment to demonstrate the process of lava eruption. We will watch an interesting video about the most famous volcanoes in the world and count how many volcanoes there are on our planet.
- Studying plants, we will create our own vegetable garden. We will water it every day and watch how a small seed grows into a delicious carrot; or how a small shoot emerges from a seed and grows into a tree in a few years; how peas, with which we will later make a salad, grow on a stem.
- Studying the properties of water, we will try to freeze it and make it disappear. At the end of the experiments, we will play water games to make sure that the water is wet.
- We will explore the world around us using games, experiments, experiences, and improvised materials. Our goal is to make the process enjoyable for the children, helping them develop a passion for learning new things.

Advantages of MriyDiy kindergarten
- An interesting education program based on the philosophy of dreamacting – the development of dreams, imagination, thinking and enrichment of the child’s practical experience.
- Psycho-emotional and physical safety.
- Infrastructure that creates a space for a joyful childhood.
The education program of MriyDiy kindergartens was developed by teachers, psychologists and early childhood educators. It is based on the original integrated course “DreamExplore”. In addition, there are weekly classes on self-reliance, interesting math, language games (with a speech therapist), creative workshops, English and music. All classes are connected by a weekly topic. Each weekly topic ends with a project.
Psycho-emotional and physical safety includes not only an equipped shelter and a professional team of staff who have completed first aid training, but also training for teachers in non-violent communication and Mindfulness; a psychologist is an integral part of the team. For children, this includes learning the rules for handling fire and electrical appliances, the basics of safe behaviour in various extreme situations, and weekly classes with a psychologist called “I am a personality.”
The infrastructure that creates the space for a joyful childhood provides comfortable rooms filled with proper educational, gaming and sports equipment. It is a safe environment where children can have a great time.

The main goal of raising children at MriyDiy kindergarten
Our goal is to focus on each child’s dreams and imagination to foster their curiosity, enrich practical experience, cultivate proactive dreaming, and create opportunities for the harmonious development of their personality.
Our primary focus in a child’s development is mental well-being, physical health, and intellectual development.
We create an environment where children feel engaged and joyful. We encourage independence, value their dreams, and teach them to act. We respect each child’s dignity, avoid comparisons, provide support, encouragement, and unconditional love.
Children participate in regular “Sports” classes and daily physical activities to strengthen their bodies, immunity, posture, and overall health. During “Sweet Reading” classes, children listen to fairy tales, create their own ones, visualize them, and act them out in roles. Using thought-provoking questions in our original integrated course, “DreamExplore,” we encourage children to observe the world and nurture their curiosity. In self-reliance classes, children learn to take care of themselves, dress independently, organize their belongings, sew buttons, and take care of their health, because practice is the best method of learning.

How we track a child's progress
We regularly monitor each child’s progress through observations conducted by the educator and psychologist. The results of these observations are recorded in the “MriyDiy Achievements Map” and shared with parents at parent meetings once a semester. The sections of this map reflect the comprehensive development of a child’s personality, including:
- Gross motor skills (e.g., running, jumping, coordinating movements)
- Fine motor skills (e.g., tying shoelaces, threading beads)
- Cognitive abilities (e.g., classifying, arranging items in the correct sequence)
- Spatial awareness (e.g., recognizing “bigger”-“smaller,” directions like “up”-“down,” “left”-“right”)
- Collaboration skills (e.g., listening to each other, interacting)
- Communication skills
At least twice a year, children participate in summary diagnostic games (quests) conducted by the preschool methodologist and psychologist. These quests are designed to assess the child’s progress in the skills listed above.
During the quests, children work in pairs or groups of three, following a storyline where they are ships navigating between islands. They stop at each island to complete specific tasks.

What is the “Circle of Dreamers”?
Every day at the kindergarten begins with the “Circle of Dreamers.” This activity is aimed at developing the child’s dream-acting mindset. In other words, children learn to imagine, dream, plan their daily and weekly goals, and identify concrete steps to achieve them.
On Mondays, children share their impressions of the weekend, learn about the planned topic for the week, and reflect on what they would like to accomplish. From Tuesday to Friday, the Circle of Dreamers involves jointly planning the day’s activities. Regardless of the day, the educators focus on the child’s dreams and aspirations, creating a trusting atmosphere that encourages children to express their thoughts. This tradition helps teach children self-organization and time management.
Additionally, during the Circle of Dreamers, children acquire important knowledge about the days of the week, seasons, and the significance of special dates. They also engage in activities like searching for “dreamcreatures” (inspired by Monatik) among geometric patterns, to distract themselves during air-raid alerts.

What is learning through play?
Play is the basis of preschool child development. At the kindergarten, we practice learning through formative play – when children play games suggested by the educator, and the educator monitors the development of important competencies of the child – the ability to cooperate, communicate, empathise, and understand the instructions and rules of the game. Additionally, children participate in free play, where they practice self-organization and creativity, inventing their own game rules. During this time, the educator ensures adherence to safety rules.
Another type of play takes place within the framework of educational classes. For example, during the integrated course “DreamExplore” within the topic of the week “Doctors and Hospital”, children role-play as doctors. The youngest ones develop fine motor skills by applying band-aids and pouring “mixtures” into jars. The younger group learns proper tooth-brushing techniques, the middle group overcomes fears of doctors and injections, and the older group enriches their vocabulary by learning the names of medical instruments.
We also implement diagnostic games aimed at tracking the development of cognitive skills through activities such as sorting, classifying, sequencing, and recognizing spatial dimensions.
